Review: the silver bullet

It’s a very simple message, but important nonetheless. As such, I will spell it out in no uncertain terms. Ladies, if you like having orgasms, buy this toy.

I’ve tried a few vibrators – not many, mind you, but enough to get a “feel” for what your traditional penis-shaped vibrator can do. And what it can not do. Frankly, most of these are best used dildo-style; sliding in and out, maybe teasing new orifices, and turning your man on with the imagery involved in licking and sucking on it (the more realistic, the better, for this job!).

However, one thing traditional penis-shaped vibrators don’t do well is vibrate. All the vibration comes from a small metal part inside the latex or silicon sheath, near the base of the toy. Which means a lot of the vibration is lost up near the head of the toy.

Enter the silver bullet. The biggest surprise to me was its price – less than $20 usually. I paid about $15 for mine, picked up late one night on a whim.

This thing VIBRATES. Imagine sliding the silicone sheath off your existing vibrator and applying that small, vibrating metal part directly to your body. That’s what the silver bullet feels like. It’s a very intense vibration that is guaranteed to send you into hours of bucking and moaning pleasure. If you find orgasms difficult to reach, this thing could be a godsend.

It’s also small enough to bring into couples play without feeling artificial. It can be a wonderful addition to intercourse and foreplay – for both partners.

In fact, my enthusiasm for this toy is so high I recommended it to my girlfriends – and they went out and bought one themselves! They – and their partners – give it top marks as well.

I will still enjoy my other vibrators and dildos, but for the most intense pleasure, I will always keep my little silver bullet close by and at the ready.

Batteries, anyone?
Good Vibrations carries this toy (called Pulse-Right on their site) for $20 – take a look!
